Corey Tackett was raised in Corsicana, Texas. After graduating from high school, he moved to Austin to attend the Southwest School of Bible Studies, where he graduated in 2017. Following his graduation, Corey began working full time as a preacher, serving congregations in Blooming Grove and Kountze, Texas. He has been married to his wife, Mattie Tackett, since 2018. Corey began working with the church in Evant in 2025.
